Hirelings can bring you extra ingredients once per day per character.

Crafting writs will net you more inspiration xp. The Alchemy passive skill Keen Eye will make them easier to spot, the one crafting skill that doesn't max out in easy-to-spot ruby color nodes or glow-in-the-dark runes. Most don't chase alchemy ingredients though. I dare say the densest collections of most crafting nodes are in the alliance starter zones (Khenarthi's Roost, Stros M'Kai & Betnikh, Bleakrock Isle & Bal Foyen) BUT, you'll be competing against bot farmers and savvy player farmers there. Dunmer areas, or areas with lots of scribs, are good for scrib jelly. High Isle might have a few coral crabs too. Summerset might be a little short on mudcrabs with all the coral crabs everywhere. Generally, I'd throw it out there that the expansion areas are plentiful. Not only do they give you Inspiration and mats directly, they'll (sometimes) drop Survey Reports that give a map to a set of 6 "super" nodes that drop several times as many mats, and only appear for you and nobody else. They're right about not sleeping on the daily Writs. There are outdoor areas that have lots of Kwama too, but I don't have them memorized. It'll drop regularly from all sorts of Kwama. The first respawns before you can kill the 3rd.įor Scrib Jelly, pick a delve in Stonefalls or Deshaan that is a Kwama mine I think there are more than one, probably quite a few.

The folks who were talking about parts of Elsewyr are right, too, though I don't get there often because I don't own that one.įor mudcrabs, there's a dock northeast of Sentinel in Alik'r where there are 3 sets of 2 mudcrab spawns that can be farmed in sequence. Auridon & Summerset, and the greener parts of Rivenspire come to mind. Most alchemy ingredients are plants, and most alchemy nodes show up in places that have lots of fields of grass & flowers.
